First announced back in July 2020, The Violence Action Live-Action has been in the news for a long time now. And it is only now that the project seems to be near the horizon. So, as part of new developments, there are newer announcements from the side of the makers. Recently, the most awaited cast decisions were made public. So, who is playing the role of Kei Kikuno? The story of the live-action is written by Toichiro Ruto. The creator is also the director of the movie. The Violence Action manga first came out in the year 2016. Since that time, six volumes of the text have come out so far. Now, the wait for the next installment is crossing the dam.

The Violence Action Live-Action: Plot Details!

As per the details so far, The Violence Action Live-Action will be in line with the plot of the manga. According to the official synopsis, the story revolves around Kei Kikuno, who is a well-known assassin of the underground. The lady has been in the business of killing people for a long time. But things do not seem to match with the personality that she projects to the outside world. Most of the story of the manga revolves around the missions that she takes up.

Cast Details!

In the most recent announcement, four additional cast members were announced for the live-action movie. The new members joining the team include Comedian Cookie, who will play the role of a large man who goes wild inside a ramen shop. Along with him, Kenta Izuka plays the role of Kura. Yumena Yanai is cast as Rikka, who is a classmate of Kei. Lastly, Comedian Daiki Hyōdō is hired for the role of Kunitsu.

The rest of the cast members include Kanna Hashimoto playing the protagonist of the story. Fumika Baba is the shopkeeper. In addition, Yosuke Sugino will play the part of Terano. Some other cast members include Takashi Okamura as Zura-San, Yu Shirota as Michitaka-kan, and Katsunori Takahashi as Kinoshita.

The Violence Action Live-Action: Release Date

As of the time of writing, the release date for the west has not been announced by the creators. In most cases, the international dates are only announced after the project opens in Japan. Thus, it will be only after the makers are sure of the collection of the project that a release date for the west will be announced. So, The Violence Action Live-Action film will open on August 19, 2022, in Japan.
