However, the Tuatha De family was asked to assassinate the girl by one of the soldiers. It is most likely that Lugh’s father is going to assign the task to him since he is in the same region.
This will create a rift between him and his family. Dia has been Lugh’s friend and love interest for a long time. Thus, for him to assassinate his friend would be a hideous act. In the eleventh episode of The World’s Finest Assassin, Tarte and Lugh were assigned for a training session. In this monthly training, they were asked to survive on a deserted island all by themselves. After they returned, Maha informed them that she was able to get a hold of a weapon the Lugh had his eyes on. This was the Gar Bolg spear that currently belonged to Setanta MacNess. Maha explained that the man was the legendary hero of his time.
Later on, Lugh gets the intel that the war had broken out in the region where Dia was residing. When he reached to take her, she refused the proposal. She argued that she was not going to abandon the people of her town. So, Lugh took her out on a date instead. When they parted, Lugh asked her to come along. But she denied it once again. In the end, a soldier from the war came to Lugh’s father and asked them to assassinate Dia.
