So, the author of the manga, Tsukiya, took to Twitter to finally announce a premiere. The story will focus on Tooru Kirishima, a crucial member of the Sakuragi crime family. However, his work isn’t limited to the crimes, and his boss has assigned him a new task. Now, what is the new assignment? When will the anime premiere? Here are all the details.
The Yakuza’s Guide To Babysitting is a slice-of-life manga series. The six-volume text has been releasing since June 2018 in the Comic Ride Pixiv magazine. The manga’s sixth volume is on its way for a release in Japan. Whereas its overseas audience has access to the digital version till the second volume. The manga started serialization on the Comic Ride pixiv site and later shifted to Comic Elmo. Now, fans have high hopes for the anime counterpart of the franchise.

The anime series is going to adapt the same plot as the manga. So, the story focuses on Tooru Kirishima, a young Yakuza member. He has been working for the Sakuragi family for a long time now. Kirishima has a slick hand in committing crimes and has the nickname “the Demon of Sakuragi”. He is a trustworthy member of the family and his boss’s right hand.
However, Kirishima receives a new task from his boss. This one is very different from his last ones and forces him to bring out a new side of him. His boss has assigned him to babysit his daughter! The Yakuza is known for his feral nature and loves this job to let it out completely. Now, how does the vicious Kirishima handle being a caretaker? The premiere will have all the answers.
Cast & Staff Updates!
The official website of the series has finally disclosed the main cast. The show follows two characters, Tooru Kirishima and Yaeka Sakuragi. Additionally, a new visual was also made into the cut. The visual features the main characters of the series and the release details. The other cast will have a reveal shortly. An update will be out soon.
So, Yoshimasa Hosoya will be seen as the titular character, Tooru Kirishima. Misaki Watada as Yaeka Sakuragi is another cast member of the series. Till now, no updates on the rest of the members are known. Studio Feel and Studio GAINA will produce the adaption.
The staff of the anime adaption includes Itsuro Kawasaki as director, whereas Keiichirou Oochi is taking up the role of series composer. Lastly, Hiromi Ogata is the character designer. The studio has assembled a highly skilled staff.

Unfortunately, a definite release date isn’t confirmed yet. But a 2022 premiere will take place per the reports. Also, the premiere is exclusive in Japan.
