Tokyo Revengers is a popular Japanese Manga which has been serializing since March 2017. The manga after publishing successfully for 3 years in Weekly Shōnen Magazine was about to entertain its fans through its anime movie and TV series.  

The creators of Tokyo Revengers earlier this year (on February 2020) announced their upcoming anime film. The Tokyo Revengers live-action film was about to hit the cinemas in October of this year. But, soon after the news it went on halt in April. The official date for Warner Bros.’ upcoming anime was October 9, 2020, Friday. Unfortunately, due to the current scenario of COVID-19, the film is unable to release on its scheduled date.

The Tokyo Revengers through its official website announced the postponement of the Live-Action Film Tokyo Revengers along with the reason which is this ongoing pandemic. Further in the statement, the anime tries to apologize for the delay and give us the update that they will inform its audience about the new date of an anime film.

Later in the statement, there is a remark from the director of Tokyo Revengers Live-Action Film, Mr Eitsu Tsutomu. 

However, till this date, there is no confirm schedule for the Live-Action Film Tokyo Revengers.

After publishing for three consecutive years and winning the Kodansha Manga Award in 2020 the manga Tokyo Revengers is now preparing for its brand new anime TV series. The anime series is about to release next year (2021) as per the update from the official website of an anime.
