There is a piece of exciting news for all the fans of Tomodachi Game manga. After much demand and requests, the popular fantasy manga is finally getting an anime adaptation. The big news was dropped in by the makers recently. Along with the adaptation update, the creators have also announced the release window and cast details of the anime. The news came in the 49th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The latest issue of the magazine announced that Yuki Sato’s popular manga was going to get an anime adaptation very soon. The 19-volume series will be brought to life by Studio Mouse. Let’s have a look at all the updates so far.
Tomodachi Game Anime: What Is The Plot?
According to the official synopsis of Tomodachi Game anime, the story is based around the themes of fantasy and drama. Yūichi Katagiri is a seemingly normal highschool boy. Friends, family, and finances are all settled aspects of his life. However, everything changes when he and his group of friends leave for a school trip. The trip was going fine until 2 million yen (US$20,000) of his trip fees goes missing.
As suspects begin to line up, he gets caught up between tough life choices. Most of the plot revolves around the hunt for the missing amount. Yūichi cannot decide if he should interrogate his close friends or not. So, who stole the amount? Did Yūichi pull off the burglary? Can the boy find out the perpetrators? The show will have all the answers.
Cast & Crew Updates!
According to the official update, the cast of Tomodachi Game Anime includes Chiaki Kobayashi in the lead role of Yūichi Katagiri. Daiki Hamano is playing the role of Tenji Mikasa. Along with him, Yume Miyamoto is playing Shiho Sawaragi. Other cast members include Tomohiro Ōno as Makoto Shibe and Satomi Amano as Yutori Kokorogi
The crew members of the anime include Hirofumi Ogura as the director of the anime. Kenta Ihara looking after the scripts of the anime. Moreover, Satomi Miyazaki is taking care of the character designing department. The music composition department is being handled by MICHIRU. This able team is working at studio Mouse to culminate the much-awaited series.
Tomodachi Game Anime: Release Date
The television anime adaptation of Tomodachi Game officially has a release window. The makers of the show have announced that the game show is scheduled to debut in April 2022. The solid release date will be announced in due time. Moreover, the show will launch on Nippon TV and BS Nippon TV. A digital is yet to collaborate with the distributors.
