Studio Pierrot’s anime series debuted in April 2016 and aired for almost a year until March 2017.
Twin Star Exorcists Season 2: Renewed Or Canceled?
Unlike most usual anime, Studio Pierrot’s Twin Star Exorcists ran for 50 episodes. After its twentieth episode, the show went non-canon and stopped following the plot of its source material. Hence, by the last episode, the story of the series was resolved, leaving less scope for a second installment. Yet, fans are not ready to let go so easily. In the last three years, the demand for more content has constantly increased. However, Studio Pierrot is yet to greenlit Sousei no Onmyouji Season 2.
