The official staff for the Urusei Yatsura Anime revealed the additional cast info on the anime. The announcement came out on the digital website of the anime. It came out with the update that the role of Ran has gotten into the bag of Kana Hanazawa. Voice actor Hiroshi Kamiya is giving his voice to Ataru Morobishi. The character of Lum will get the voice of Sumire Uesaka. Shinobu Miyake and Shūtarō Mendō will get the voice of Maaya Uchida and Mamoru Miyano respectively.
The rest of the voice actors for the cast of the anime are Wataru Takagi and Miyuki Sawashiro. Wataru will voice the character of Cherry. However, Miyuki will voice the character of Sakura. Moreover, the announcement included the fact that the first two cours of the anime will run consecutively without any break. However, there is no assurance about the continuity of the next two cours.
What Will Be The Anime About?
The anime is about a boy named Ataru. The Oni race attacks the Earth and gives the human race the chance to save itself. The Oni princess Lum challenges Ataru to touch her horn in order to save Earth. Ataru’s girlfriend promises to marry him if he touches Lum’s horn. However, Lum apprehends that Ataru is proposing to her when he finally touches her horns. Lum accepts the misunderstood proposal of Ataru and marries her.
However, the nature of Ataru is still perverted as it was before. He has a dancing eye and still tries to flirt with other girls. Moreover, Lum has taken admission to the same school as Ataru to keep an eye on him. However, she meets Mendō at Ataru’s school. Lum admires Mendo but does not part ways with Ataru. She was still in love with Ataru.
