The man opened up for the first time in the last outing. He said that he was not the hero that his son always said he was. The title of Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 7 was “Iron Fist Ketil.” The episode started with Einar and Thorfinn seeing their first harvest. But then, Einar asks Thorfinn to join him for a short prayer. This was a kind of ritual to pray for a successful crop. Later on, Ketil comes back to the farm along with his son. As a result of this, the two farmers come to know that his name was ‘Iron Fist Ketil.’ He then starts to tell them about the legendary stories of his father’s youth.
Two young thieves come to the farm as they were found stealing food. And now was the time that Ketil chose a good punishment for them. In the last act of the episode, he asks the two of them to stay at the farm and be of some use. At last, we see a conversation between Amheid and Ketil, who tells him that he was no hero and was trying to stay away from as much danger as possible.
