In the first week of July 2021, the first visual of Vinland Saga Season 2 was released. Since then, the makers are consistently posting and releasing updates about the show. Plot Details

The second season will officially inaugurate the Ketil Farm Arc in Vinland Saga Season 2. The series has four major arcs, namely the War arc, the Slave arc, the Eastern Expedition arc, and the concluding Vinland arc. The Slave act of the story accounts for the Ketil farm arc. The act covers chapters 56 to 99 of the manga. Here, Thorfinn will experience the slavery system in the kingdom all by himself.
He will be sold to a slaver on the Ketil farm. Moreover, he will also meet Einar, a friend for life, in the place. The two will struggle to escape the drowning system and lead towards the Capitol once again. Meanwhile, King Canute will continue with his quest to make Earth a better place. He will fight the Curse of the Crown while Thorfinn leads his way to the King’s palace. So, fans will get to see a grown-up version of the protagonist. The Ketil farm act will end the journey of the naive and stubborn boy that they were introduced to in the pilot season.
Vinland Saga Season 2: Release Date
For the time being, the makers of the show have not announced a definite release date for the sequel. But it was confirmed by the end of the former season that the second edition would arrive real soon. Hence, Vinland Saga Season 2 will likely release in Winter 2022.
