This week’s episode will open up with Urushi dealing with her feelings. As the preview images suggest, it will be Valentine’s Day. So Urushi will bring chocolate for Ayumu. But will be afraid of giving him. She will wonder whether it will create a mess between them which she doesn’t want to. So she will wait for him in front of the Shogi club and start rehearsing. Urushi will practice what to say. But when Ayumu enters, she will become nervous and start stammering.
However, she will soon gift him the chocolate, which will make him nervous too. After receiving a gift from Urushi, Ayumu will ask her to join him in a game of Shogi. He will challenge her that he will win the game as he has already read plenty of books. But unfortunately, he won’t be able to trick Urushi, leading to losing the game. He will once again miss an opportunity to confess his feelings. But he will decide to walk her home.

Previously in When Will Ayumu Make His Move Episode 5, Urushi dreamed that Ayumu kissed her. The following day, they went to a library where Ayumu had bought some shogi books. Ayumu also learned about Urushi’s favorite manga. When he asked Urushi what she thought about him, an embarrassed Urushi took him to a nearby restaurant. There the chef revealed her childhood anecdotes. He later walked her home, and they both ran into her cat, Kin. As he said, pets were more like their owners, so he started calling Kin cute names, making her feel he was saying all of this to her.
They nearly kissed when Kin jumped from her hand, and he caught Urushi. Elsewhere, Sakurako and Takeru watched a movie, and Sakurako started imitating the lead actress. But despite this, she failed to kiss Takeru and discussed how the ending differed from the book it was based on. Later, she asked her whether he preferred the other ending, and he confirmed it. Late that night, Urushi accidentally video called Ayumu, and they talked where Ayumu said that he felt like they were together, which flustered her. Urushi hanged the call but was embarrassed to sleep herself.
