Haoliners Animation League produced the debut season of the anime series, which was licensed by Crunchyroll. However, neither Haoliners nor Crunchyroll revealed anything regarding the future of the anime series. It’s been three years, and the fans of the series are still waiting for an update from the creators. The creators neither renewed nor canceled A Centaur’s Life Season 2. They haven’t even updated anything. Therefore the fate of the anime series is still up in the air.
Is There Enough Source Material?
To create another season of anime, the animation studio needs enough source material to follow the storyline. Kei Murayama, the author of the manga series, has published 20 volumes so far. The inaugural season of the show only ran for twelve episodes. And presently, the manga has twenty volumes. Therefore, Haoliners Animation League has enough source material to create A Centaur’s Life Season 2, and that’s a good sign for the future of the anime.
A Centaur’s Life Season 2: Will The Anime Return?
Centaur No Nayami is just an ordinary slice-of-life anime series with some twists and turns. It received a positive response from the viewers, but it wasn’t that popular as compared to the other anime shows of the same genre. Therefore, despite having enough source material, the chances for A Centaur’s Life to happen are pretty slim. But the fans shouldn’t lose hope as the final decision will be up to the creators.
