Idols and musical anime are not everyone’s cup of tea. Therefore, only a limited number of people watched and liked this kind of show. The first season of this series began by focusing on the origin of its main band. It was indeed a good idea but the way they portrayed it felt a bit rushed. The story was good, but its pacing could have been better. Anyways, Sanzigen did a fine job in animating the series.
Its art style was also brilliant, and the anime looks pretty clean. The viewers really liked the looks of its characters, but they lacked depth. The most disappointing thing about Argonavis from BanG Dream was its season finale. It could be a lot better series if it ran for twelve episodes only.

Argonavis from BanG Dream Season 2: Renewal Status!
The first installment of this musical drama got a mixed response from the viewers and the critics. Everyone heavily criticized the series for its terrible season finale. Except for that, everything about this anime was fine, including its music. At the time of writing, the series has a score of 6.79 on MyAnimeList. Well, it is not that low compared to the other shows of the same genre.
Now, the series’ future depends entirely on its disc sales and how its music performs. Argonavis was watched by only a limited set of people. It also failed to recreate the magic of BanG Dreams. So, if the demand to see the anime’s sequel increases, then the makers might renew Argonavis from BanG Dream Season 2. But at present, the chances for this show to get a renewal are quite low.

The premiere date of the sequel of this musical drama completely depends on the time of its renewal. This kind of shows takes at least a year to get on the screens.
