According to the official synopsis by TMS, the story of Bakugan Evolutions is deemed to be a continuation of Geogan Rising (Battle Planet Season 3). This time around, Drago, Trox, Pegatrix, Hydorous, Howlkor, and Pharol will return to the battlefield stronger. The team of heroes will find out that Earth is being threatened by the radiations of strange energy that is coming out of its surface.
Thus, the heroes will investigate the origin of this energy. The search will uncover that the Vestroian elemental energy is seeping into Earth and causing the Brawlers to be untimely evolve. As the Awesome species evolve, the wild animals are also getting strange powers from the energy. Thus Bakugans must ensure that the line that separates the human world from the Vestroia world remains solid.

Bakugan Evolutions is going to be the fourth season in the Bakugan Battle Planet anime franchise. Battle Planet began in 2018 as the North American version of the original 2007 franchise. According to the official update from the makers, the new season will have a total of twenty-six episodes. Each episode will be 22-minutes long. For the time being, the cast of the show has not been revealed. The staff of season 4 is also yet to be announced.
