Boruto Episode 221: Plot Details & Preview
The forthcoming episode of Boruto Naruto Next Generations is titled “The Chunin Exams Resume.” As the name suggests, the new episode is going to commence the Chunin Exams for the young fighters. The exams and the training are being held in light of the recent attack by Isshiki. In this special trailer, the younger recruits of Team Seven are going to go through a variety of tasks that are designed to train them for future attacks.
Moreover, fans can also expect to see developments in Boruto’s fusion with Momoshiki. In the last edition, the doctor had told Naruto that in a few days, the Otsutsuki would take complete control of Boruto’s body. Thus, they only have a few days to reverse the karma. Moreover, it is not known if there is any way of separating the two. It will be interesting to see if the team is able to do so in Boruto Episode 221 or not.

The 220th episode of Boruto began with Dr. Katatsuke informing Naruto that he had been observing something different. He informed Lord Hokage that Momoshiki would soon have complete control of Boruto’s body. Later in the episode, Amado suggests that Naruto should treat the arm that he lost during the battle. He explained that even Kawaki’s prosthetic arm worked fine. Thus, Naruto accepted the request and agreed to undergo the procedure to get his arm fixed.
On the other hand, Boruto felt alone in the secluded baren area. There, he found Sarada and Mitsuki, who investigated his state. After learning about Momoshiki, they tried to comfort the young boy. Later in the episode, Sasuke informed Naruto that he tried to kill Boruto once during their training. In the end, Sasuke tells Naruto that he will protect Boruto as his own son.
