So he evolved into a godling, gaining miraculous divine abilities with the help of his art form- shinjutsu. Momoshiki revealed this in Boruto’s mindscape, addressing Shibai, the most powerful of his alien clan.
Shibai has a Rinnegan and a Byakugan, helping him to manage all the energy he has consumed. Further, he never needed any hand seals to execute his moves. Everything came naturally to him. Rather than manipulating nature, he controlled everything with a single thought, making himself a nature.
