As the dread of never finding a way out of the loop looms over them all, Asa and Denji will get closer to each other. Denji will ask her a bunch of irrelevant questions to take her mind off it. At the same time, he will dodge her confessions. He relates to her the most since he was also once naive and didn’t know the difference between right and wrong. Thus, their growing bond will take center stage in the new chapter.
Meanwhile, chapter 116 also has the potential to flesh out more on Yoshida’s knowledge about the Chainsaw Devil. In chapter 115, Yoshida, out of nowhere, asked Denji if Chainsaw Man could eat up and erase the Death Devil, one of the four horsemen of hell.
