Even though Demon Slayer Mugen Train is the highest-grossing and most-watched anime movie of all time, there is still a significant hype around the rewatch season. Ahead of the release of the most-anticipated sequel, Studio Ufotable decided to release the Mugen Train arc in a seven-episode divide. Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4 will be in the next edition of the series. However, fans will not see the next episode this week. Why is that the case? Here is all you need to know.
The next episode of Mugen Train Arc was set to capture the intense battle between Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Enmu. As Tanjiro and Nezuko wake all the other slayers from the hypnotic sleep, they immediately begin their mission to detach the train from the demon and safeguard all the passengers. Besides the known plot, fans are looking forward to the added perks in the series.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4: Why The Hiatus?
Recently, the official website and social media handles of Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba came out with the announcement in regards to the release of the next episode of the second season. The news revealed that Episode 4 was going to be on a break on its release date. It was mentioned that due to the mandatory airing of the nationwide elections, the airtime slot of the episode had to be pushed ahead. Read further to know the new release date.
What to Expect Next?
So far in the Mugen Train Arc, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Rengoku are all under the spell of Enmu’s blood demon art. All the Demon Slayers are in a state of deep sleep. But in sleep, Tanjiro understands that reality is different. His perfect family is only an illusion, and that he must come out of the dream. Thus, the voice of his father tells him that he must do the obvious in order to escape the sweet dream. As a result, Tanjiro cuts his own throat and wakes up back inside the train.
Now, Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4 will deal with Tanjiro’s fight with Enmu. After waking up, he will break the sleep spells off of all the other demon slayers. Rengoku will instruct Tanjiro and Inosuke to reach towards the engine where Enmu must be hiding. Here, he will take care of the remaining parts of the train. The episode will also feature some original scenes that will be worth watching.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4: New Release Date
Initially, the original release date of the fourth episode was set to be on October 31, 2021. According to the official update by Crunchyroll, the new release date of Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 4 is November 7, 2021. This means that the new episode will be running on a week’s delay. Moreover, TOKYO MX, BS1, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV will release the next edition on November 13. In case of further rescheduling, we will be sure to update this section.
