Kimetsu no Yaiba Anime Compared to Manga

The Demon Slayer manga series has already concluded. It ended after the release of Chapter 205. The manga readers already know how the story will end. So, if the anime only want to catch up with the manga, then they can start reading from Chapter 98. The first two seasons adapted a total of 97 chapters. After the Swordsmith Village arc, there will be the Hashira Training arc which will be followed by the decisive arcs of the series. The Demon Slayer manga series has a total of 205 chapters. The upcoming Swordsmith Village arc is 29 chapters long, which is more than enough to create a full-fledged season.

Demon Slayer Season 3: Plot Details

The next installment of Kimetsu no Yaiba will begin with Tanjiro trying to repair his sword. However, this time he will start a journey to the Swordsmith Village arc in order to get a permanent solution for his blade. Only a few selected personnel, including the Hashiras, know the location of this village. So far, not a single demon has infiltrated this village. But this fact will change very soon.

When Tanjiro reaches the Swordsmith village, he meets the Love Hashira and the Mist Hashira. Not only them but the younger brother of the Wind Hashira, Genya, will also be there. However, soon they will find themselves in trouble when the Upper Moon Six infiltrates the village. This time they decide to destroy the Swordsmith village once and for all, and hence Upper Moon Five will also accompany him.

This arc of Demon Slayer Season 3 will finally feature Muichiro and Kanroji in action. The fans will also find out Genya’s real ability. It goes without saying that Tanjiro and Nezuko will be an important part of this battle. We will obviously not tell how this battle will unfold as you have to watch the third season of the anime to know this part. But just make sure you won’t watch the upcoming episodes as the action will be too good to miss.
