Press releases announced that Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc will be premiering soon and announced a release date. It was also revealed that the anime would also have a one-hour special. There will be screenings of the series, which will play in theatres in 80 countries and territories from February 3, 2023. The screenings will be of Episodes 10 and 11 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, along with the first episode of the new arc.
Director Haruo Sotozaki will be returning for the new arc. Akira Matsushima will also be returning. Furthermore, the main cast from the previous arcs will also be back for this new arc. But there shall come more surprises with the release of the first episode of the third season.

The World Tour Screenings will take place in Japan, Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, Mexico City, Seoul, Taipei, and more. The dates for the screenings differ based on the places it is taking place.
