It turns out that Norman does not die in the Promised Neverland. He returns in Season 2 Episode 5. The boy came to save Emma and other orphans from a pair of demons. How Does He Meet With Emma And Others?

The sight of him makes her teary. Norman remarks that it has been a while since they saw each other and hugs her. Later he also meets with Ray and others.

The trio hugs each other and cries happy tears. The events happen in Chapter 118 of the manga series. In the anime, Norman meets Emma and others in Season 2, Episode 5. He learns about their hideout and comes just in time to save them. Norman and his friends disguise themselves as demons to blend in. He and some others save Emma and the orphanage children.

In the next episode, he has a happy reunion with his friends. He explains to them how he never died and was sent to the research facility.
