Dragon Ball Super Chapter 87 began with Goku and Vegeta pledging to train harder. At the same time, Granolah was on his knees, totally defeated. Granolah revealed that he has only three more years to live. He used his own life force for the final move against Gas. Monaito appeared and started healing Granolah. Now, Elec tried to leave the mess. But before leaving, he attacked Monaito with a powerful beam.
Out of nowhere, Gas reappeared and started attacking Goku and others. Goku, though, managed to defeat him. Elec revealed that he sacrificed his brother’s lifespan to make Gas the strongest. Suddenly Freiza arrived in the picture. He transformed into Black Freiza and finished Gas with one move. The chapter ended after Goku and Vegeta left the planet with Whis.
