However, it is still unknown what troubles and challenges they have to face in the virtual world. They also need to find out why Hermit can’t return to Edens Zero and come up with a solution.

In the 12th episode of the Edens Zero, the viewers saw Rebecca and Pino watching the citizens panicking due to the chaos. Soon, the building began to fall down, and a mysterious tree started to overgrow from the ground. Rebecca didn’t manage to balance herself and fell inside the pit. But, the good thing is that Shiki arrived and rescued Rebecca before she took any injury. Later, Shiki smiled after seeing Ivry dressing like an old woman. Besides, she asked the great Demon King to take care of the overgrowing tree.
However, Homura stunned everyone when he used Ether Gear Sword to cut down the tree. By the end of that episode, Shiki and his friends got the location of Hermit.
