The anime series turned out to be an ideal show for the fans who like romantic-comedies with some other twists. However, gamers can easily relate to this show as there are a lot of references to it. During the span of these four years, the authors have published a total of twelve volumes. Out of these twelve, the first season of the anime has only covered six. Hence, the last six volumes are still untouched, and the makers can use its content to make Gamers Season 2. Therefore, fans don’t have to worry about its source material as the makers have plenty of it.
Gamers Season 2: Will The Anime Return?
The first season of the show received great reviews. It also has a good score of 6.91 on MyAnimeList, alongside a pretty decent viewership count. So, it seems like the performance of the show wasn’t the main reason behind its delay. The main purpose of the anime was to promote the LN series. However, since its source material ended back in 2019, the studio is now left with nothing to promote. Therefore, the chances for Gamers Season to happen are relatively less. There is a huge difference in its popularity as compared to the time its debut. So, the fans shouldn’t raise their hopes very high to see the second of the series.
