Wendy Saito wielding the Ace of Spades X Playing card in the previous episode has fans completely head over heels for her. She also captivates the fans with her beautiful katana. However, her katana turns her into a completely different person whom viewers immediately become afraid of. Her new side is Love-P. Moreover, the powers and skills of the High card members’ cards are finally out. High Card Episode 5 will see the characters working together as a team to get back the remaining X-Playing Cards. The previous episode sees Chris becoming hostage at a bank robbery. However, he revives using the card powers. The powers of the cards are currently at an all-time high. Fans should brace themselves to see how intense and mysterious the anime will get from here on out. Love-P also seems to be creating a lot of chaos around. High Card Episode 5: What Will Happen Next?
Episode 5 of High Card will be “Power Game.” The episode will see Ban Klondike who happens to be the mafia boss of the Klondike family. Ban’s right-hand man, Tilt will also be making an appearance. Moreover, viewers can look forward to seeing a new mysterious character. However, no specific hints are out on who the new character may be.
Sugar Pease, the detective working under the supervision of Greg Young will also fall into the hands of trouble. She will be held at gunpoint. She will run into certain strange people despite Young advising her to avoid them at any possible cost. However, the members of High Card will also soon come to her rescue.
Previous Episode Recap!
High Card Episode 4 was titled “Samurai Girl.” The episode starts with Finn stealing a client from Chris at the dealership. Chris later tells Finn about the unwritten rule of the job of never letting Wendy get too drunk or draw her sword. The episode also sees Chris being taken hostage at a bank robbery. Vijay traps the thieves’ vans. Wendy then uses her Ace of Spades cards and calls “Love and Peace.” She knocks out the thieves with her katana, but one of the thieves ends up taking Vijay hostage.
The thief introduces himself as John Doe. He uses the 4 of Hearts power “Agent S.” As a result of his power use, he splits himself into four other bodies. Wendy feels trapped by the situation and takes out her sword. She lets Love and Peace take over her and becomes a ruthless maniac. She easily takes out John Doe but starts attacking the other High card members. However, Finn takes the sword out of her hand just in time and makes Love-P fall asleep.
High Card Episode 5: Release Date
The new episode will release on February 6, 2023, at 8 pm JST. Fans in Japan can watch the episode on AT-X, Tokyo MX, TV Aichi, BS11, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and other broadcasting channels in Japan.
