The 17th episode, titled “A Warrior Will Die for One Who Understands Him,” opened with Kazuya deciding to have a conversation with Georg. Asking him to take a seat, Georg gave a glass full of poisoned wine to Kazuya. Meanwhile, Jeanne was on a different track, trying to convince Hakuya to form an alliance with her.
