The first season of 12 episodes, ended up covering only the first 41 chapters of the manga. This leaves more than half of the story to get an adaptation. Love of Kill Season will cover Chapters 42 to 80 of the manga.

As mentioned above, the finale of the series was abrupt and did not tell the entire story. This only means that there is another season in the make. In the final episode, titled “My Name,” Chateau defied all expectations and hires Son to get Donny assassinated. Koroshi Ai Season 2 will not be a tough call to make for Studio Platinum Vision.
