Lupin III Part 6 Episode 6: Plot Details!
The next episode of Lupin III Part 6 is titled “The Imperial City Dreams of Thieves, Part 2.” As suggested by the head, the episode is going to continue the storyline of the Showa Era Japan. As Lupin was about to confront Ruriko, the owner of the department store, he was attacked by the sword of Ishikawa Goemon. The subtle hint in this scene is that Ishikawa Goemon was one of the most renowned Japanese outlaws.
It is clear that the man who attacked Lupin does not want him to get in touch with Ruriko. Also, Lupin knows that he is not the real Golden Mask. Thus, all hints point towards this man as the real Golden Mask. Since the automaton clock is also in the department store, he must be here to steal the artifact. Thus, in Lupin III Part 6 Episode 6, Lupin is going to try to stop the real perpetrator.

In last week’s episode of Lupin The Third Part 6, Lupin gets transported into the Showa era of Japan after getting hit by a lightning strike. It turns out that he is the infamous thief called the Golden Mask and the entire police force is after him. He also finds that Zenigata is inspector Namikoshi in the alternate universe. Fujiko is the Black Lizard. After all the introductions, the main robbery of the episode begins. Lupin learns that the owner of the Shigetomi department store had ordered the automaton clock from Mongolia.
It was supposed to reach her via the Tokyo Train. However, Lupin failed to get the priced artifact for himself. Later, he finds that the clock had already reached the store and was on display. When he reached the store, he decided to talk to the owner. However, he was interrupted by the sword of Ishikawa Goemon. The episode ended on this note.

The story of the Imperial City of dreams is going to continue in the next outing. It will be interesting to see how Lupin overcomes the villains that adorn masks and use samurai swords.
