The eighth episode of Lupin III Part 6 began with a flashback sequence. Jigen began to dictate the incident or the shootout he was involved in. He explained the reason why he used ordinary bullets with his revolver. So, during a school gallery excursion, a kidnapper attacked Lily Watson. However, Lupin took the help of a student named Kenny to take her back to Sherlock. But during the transfer, the kidnapper group tries to attack them once again. This time, they manage to get help from Roark and execute the plan.
But Jigen showed up, and Lily also took out the mask and turned out to be Kenny. Thus, the shootout began. As Jigen had already mentioned, he only had one magnum bullet in his revolver. Thus, there was no chance for him to take. Thus, he shot Roark and took the blood in his hands. Lily went back to London, and Jigen got the name of the Gunman for the rest of his life.
