The company has released more than fifty games so far. This will be the first time that Level 5 will enter the anime business in 2021.
Megaton Musashi Anime: Plot Details
The classic story of Megaton Musashi is set in a post-apocalyptic world that is struggling to rebuild the society that flourished one day. The current world came into being after one of the worst alien invasions in the history of mankind. Now, an authoritarian system runs the government and rules the survivors of the attack. Ninety percent of the human race has been terminated. Now, the government rules over the remaining ten percent to make them the slaves of the system.
Their lives are doctored and monitored since birth. All the memories of the alien invasions are erased from their minds. The story focuses on three young high school students who are recruited by the army wing of the government. They are trained to pilot three machines that are parts of the Musashi robot. The Megatronium alloy robot is one of the last resorts for humanity to protect themselves from further invasions. Thus, the fate of the human race lies in the hands of these three teenagers, for whom the robot is just another playful machine.
Cast & Crew
The official website of the Megaton Musashi Anime recently updates its list of the crew members of the project. Unfortunately, the list of cast names is still not in the public domain. The founder and president of Level 5, Akihiro Hino, will be the chief director and original creator of the show. Moreover, he is also handling the scriptwriting department. Shigeharu Takahashi will be the director of the series.
Takuzō Nagano is looking after the character designs of the anime. Furthermore, Ken’ichirō Saigō will be composing the music. Lastly, Ryō Tanaka is the audio director of the series.
Megaton Musashi Anime: Release Date
The makers of the game anime confirmed its release date even before they completed the production work. So, Megaton Musashi Anime will premiere this Fall. The anime will release on October 1, 2021. The fans will find the anime on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, and other prime Japanese networks.
