Even though the dynamic between Rudeus and Sylphy is quite good, it cannot be denied that marriage is an institution of elevated responsibilities.

The 78th chapter of Jobless Reincarnation, titled “Supporter,” started with the council being shocked at Rudeus’ decision to marry Sylphy. After a long discussion, Sylphy said that she would continue to serve Ariel-Sama as she had been doing. And alongside, she would also do her best as Rudeus’ wife. Later, she also thanked Ariel for all his help and support so far. This brought tears to Rudeus’ eyes. The chapter takes a leap of a few days and starts at a diner with Rudeus and Arther.
There, the two of them try to convince Rudeus to spill the beans about his marriage. But instead, he talked about a haunted house that he was planning to buy. The legend had it that people had been mysteriously disappearing in that house. The real deal was, if Rudeus managed to exorcise the ghosts of that house, he would get an extra fifty percent discount on the mansion. Towards the end of the chapter, Rudeus is at the mansion with his team.
