Netflix might have some great news for One Piece fans! The platform will now have a few more seasons available for fans to stream. One of the Big Three franchises from Japan, One Piece, has achieved great popularity across the world. It has the longest-running manga and anime series of all time. So it is no surprise that it has one of the biggest fanbases too. Fans have been asking for more content to be there on streaming sites, and it seems that the creators have heard the request. So here is everything you need to know about the One Piece Seasons coming to Netflix.
In 1997, Eiichiro Oda created the One Piece franchise with his manga series, ‘One Piece’. Toei Animation later adapted the series in 1999 into an anime series. The series is ongoing in both mediums, with 100 volumes in the manga series and over 1000 episodes in the anime series. The franchise later went on to make video games, films, and specials. As of July 2021, the One Piece manga series became the best-selling series of all time, with 590 million copies in circulation in over 58 countries. These numbers make enough sense about the demand for anime series across the world.
New One Piece Seasons Coming To Netflix!
The official website of One Piece and the coming soon page of Netflix have both confirmed that there will be four new seasons of the anime series that will join the Netflix line-up soon this year. There is no confirmation yet about which season will be up for streaming; however, fans have made some educated guesses. Since Netflix previously received the East Blue and Alabasta Saga, the next arcs on the list are Sky Island and Water 7 Sagas. However, these sagas have multiple seasons under them. The Sky Island Saga has Seasons 5 and 6, while the Water 7 Saga has Seasons 7, 8, and 9. Hopefully, Netflix will have both the Sagas for the fans.
What Sagas Are Returning?
The Sky Island Saga will take place from Episode 130 to 195. The story in this arc follows Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates going from Jaya to Skypiea. The story starts when a more than a century-old ship falls from the sky. On the other hand, the World Government is trying to gather all the Warlords of the Sea to replace Crocodile. The story follows Luffy and his friends reaching Skypiea, where they have to fight new enemies and make new friends.
The Water 7 Saga will have Seasons 7, 8, and 9. This would mean episodes from 196 to 335. This arc picks up after the Skypiea Arc. The crew would have to manage to land in the Blue Sea safely. However, there they fight Foxy the Silver Fox and face one of the three Admirals from the Navy. Somehow they manage to land in Water 7, which is a city full of carpenters. The story follows their adventures in trying to repair their shit and find a shipwright as well as learn something deeper about themselves.

New One Piece Seasons Netflix Release Date
Although we don’t know which four seasons Netflix will be putting on, we know that the One Piece new seasons will be up on Netflix on March 1, 2022.
