On October 23, Funimation and Toei Animation released a joint statement that concerns the release of the thousandth episode of the One Piece Anime series. The animator and the streaming giant said that they are planning to make the event historic in every way possible. Thus, they have planned to stream the episode on the global platform. The companies have said that One Piece Episode 1000 will stream for free on the official YouTube channels Funimation and Toei Animation.
Moreover, the Facebook page of One Piece will also stream the episode. In addition, the broacher of the event suggests that social media influencer RogersBase will be the host of the episode. It was also mentioned that the previous two episodes, 998 and 999, will also stream for free on the platforms. Fans can also participate in the online event to get prizes and giveaways.
