Well, the preview suggests that the episode will begin with Luffy’s battle with Ulti and Page One. The battle will begin with a fairly decent balance. However, Luffy will find it difficult to manage the fight between the two of them. Thus, a mysterious man in a demon mask will arrive to help Luffy.
In the preview, the entrance of the peculiar fighter seemed to shock everyone in the room. Later, the preview also unmasked the man revealing him to be the son of Kaido. Thus, One Piece Episode 990 will mark the grand entry of Yamato in the series. The fans of the manga have been desperately waiting for this arrival. So, it will be interesting to see how things will unfold now that Kaido’s own son has joined the rebelling alliance.

In the 989th episode of One Piece, Chopper decided to take on Big Mom all by himself. However, it took Big Mom a considerable amount of time to realize that Chopper is a member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Later on, Kanjuro reached to Orochi and Kaido to submit Momonosuke to them. He also revealed that Kinemon was able to defeat the guards and enter the castle. But Fukurokuju assured that the situation is still under their control.
On the battlefield, Nekomamushi shared a dialogue with Marco and Izo telling them that they are going to take down Kaido and Orochi. Chopper and Usopp were being chased by Big Mom after revealing themselves as the members of the Straw Hats. Later on, an epic battle between the three began.
