The 18th chapter of Ranking of Kings started with a dialogue between Bebin and King Bosse. He wanted to know all about Miranjo and how she turned out to be such an atrocity to the Kingdom. Thus, the king began to dictate the story of how he was exploring the woods one day when the tragedy struck him right in the face. It was at the helm of the Houma Kingdom where he came across several mages. One of them happened to be Lady Miranjo. After a competition in her Kingdom, King Bosse was badly injured.
It was Miranjo’s mother who had tended his wounds. Thus, Bosse had the moral obligation to devote his life to her daughter. But a war between the Gyakuza and the Houma led to the death of Miranjo’s mother. Back in the present, Domas and Hokuro meet with Queen Hiling and told her that they would always protect his son. Towards the end of the episode, the battle between Bojji and Ouken finally commences.
