Asahi Production animated the first season of this show. Its twelve-part debut season came out on July 1, 2021, and aired its final episode on September 16, 2021.

Coolkyousinnjya began the serialization of the Peach Boy Riverside manga series in August 2015. Since then, he has published a total of ten volumes. When the anime adaptation of this manga was announced, everyone expected a faithful adaptation from Asahi Production. However, that didn’t happen as the production studio completely messed up the chronological order of the manga series. They did this to increase the suspense and tension and find a good stopping point for the anime.
Its premiere episode began with Chapters 2 and 3 of the manga, whereas Chapter 1 was adopted in the fourth episode. The twelfth episode used Chapters 11 and 12, but the overall stopping point of the anime was at Chapter of Volume 7. Therefore, Asahi Production has only three chapters left to create Peach Boy Riverside Season 2. It is certainly not enough, but the good thing is that manga is still running. So, the production studio will have enough content by next year.

The renewal of anime series depends on several factors like popularity, critical reception, ratings, availability of source material, and many more. The critical reception of the anime wasn’t really well as they find nothing special in the series. Its ratings are also quite mediocre.
