The official website of Sailor Moon Cosmos Anime Film announced that the film would take place in two parts. A promotional video for the film was also streamed on Tuesday. Moreover, the cast for the Sailor Starlight members has also been revealed. Saori Hayama will be playing the role of Taiki Ko or also known as the Sailor Star Maker. The part of Seiya Ko, also known as the Sailor Star Fighter, is played by Marina Inoue. Moreover, Ayane Sakura plays the character of Yaten Ko. Other cast members from previous films will also be returning.
Tomoya Takahashi will be directing both parts of the film. The scriptwriter from the previous films, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, will also be returning. Moreover, the original character for the original Sailor Moon will also be working on the character designs of this film. Yumiko Soraga will be the art director, and Yasuharu Takanashi is also returning as a music composer.
