Sasaki and Miyano manga began releasing on Pixiv Comic’s website in 2016. Sho Harusono is the writer and illustrator of the manga. Media Factory has released seven volumes of the series. Yen Press has launched the English version of the manga in North America. In addition, the manga has inspired a spin-off manga. ‘Hirano to Kagiura’ the spin-off was released in 2019. Moreover, the manga also has two other spin-off novels.
Sasaki and Miyano Anime: Production Details!
Judging by the nearing release date, it is most likely that the new anime series is done with the production work. Shinji Ishihira, known for his work on Fairy Tail, is directing the anime. Takahiro Ueno is joining him as assistant director. On top of this, Yoshiko Nakamura is working on the series composition. The show’s main cast are Yusuke Shirai, Soma Saito, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Yuki Ono. Most importantly, Yusuke Shirai and Soma Saito will perform the ‘Strawberry Sunset’ ending theme. In addition, Studio DEEN is animating the show.
Sho Harusono began serializing the manga in 2016. The manga was praised for its funny and simple plot. News of the anime adaptation was first hinted at in 2020. However, the cast and staff announcement was made in June 2021. The anime’s official website released a promo video on December 10, 2021. Sasaki and Miyano Anime: Release Date
Sasaki and Miyano anime finally has a confirmed release window. The official website of the series confirmed the same in February this year. So, the slice of life anime will release on January 9, 2022, on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. BS NTV will launch the show on the next day, on January 10, 2022.
