The 6th episode of season one is likely to bring Miyano’s raw emotions out. The duo has had many struggles in the past. However, the recent releases have seen a huge change in their relationship and find them finally understanding each other better. Episode 5 of Sasaki and Miyano begins with Miyano participating in an event. After finishing off his run, Miyano settles on the grass with his friend, Kuresawa. Once, Kuresawa leaves to get them sports drinks, Sasaki finds Miyano. The duo later discussed a BL manga that Sasaki had borrowed from his junior. The scene focuses on them talking and Sasaki wishing this was it. The leads share a special moment with each other talking about their interests. While Miyano gets very excited when Sasaki speaks of “moe” and “uke’s.” The time comes when Shuu is unable to hold it for longer and confesses his feelings. However, just when he could proceed, Kuresawa comes back and takes Miyano away.
Sasaki wonders if his actions are correct. But Hirano pulls him out of those thoughts. Later, Miyano recalls the moments when he had trouble with his girly looks. This makes him think that Shuu likes him because of them. The episode also showcases how Miyano grew bangs so he would look less girly. He comes to school wearing a mask so his face will be covered. Hirano and Shuu both notice this. Finally, Shuu states his true feelings once again. He assures Miyano that he likes him and ends it off with his calling his affection more than his mere face.

Sho Harusono’s series maintains a balance between the two completely opposite main leads. While Sasaki does not shy away from his feelings, Miyano finds it much hard to express his side.
