By befriending Mizuho, the two might win the trust of their classmates and find out about the way to escape this island. In the second episode of Sonny Boy, we see that the students are still trying to learn more about the mysterious island that they are transported to. They find out that most of the things on the island are reproductive, which means that they can have an endless supply of food and other entities. However, they must always pay for the things they are taking away from the island. The students also see that things are mysteriously succumbing to blue flames.
As it happens, Nozomi and Nagara come across a girl named Mizuho, who is a regular resident of the island. It turns out that Mizuho is the one setting things ablaze. Thus, Nozomi and Nagara befriend her try to learn more about this new place. Can Mizuho be their resort to escape out of the island? The answer lies in Sonny Boy Episode 3.
