The title of Sonny Boy Episode 6 is “Long Goodbye.” The name hints towards yet another dimension shift that the class may go through. By the end of the previous episode, Nozomi notices that her compass is detecting an incoming light. Previously, a light of the same radiation caused the transportation of the class. Thus, it is clear that all the students are going to reach separate destinations. Moreover, several Reddit discussions suggest that Asakaze and Nagara might drift apart after the light hits them.
Both of them are likely to get transported to different worlds in the next episode. Sonny Boy Episode 6 will also feature Nozomi in action as she is the only one who knows how to operate the compass. The previous episode of Sonny Boy saw the arrival of one of the school teachers of the students into the new dimension. Ms. Aki confesses to the students that she predominantly possessed the power of escaping. This means that it was Ms. Aki who transported the entire class to the island. But the teacher also revealed that her power does not involve reversing transportation.
She also shared that Asakaze is their only hope to get home. Thus, the class continued to argue over whether or not they should trust the word of their teacher. The episode ended with a strong beam of light shining over the students. This could be considered as a sign that they will be traveling to yet another dimension!

Things are getting more complicated for the class as Ms. Aki continues to divide the students. So, Sonny Boy Episode 6 will release this Thursday on August 19, 2021. The episode will be available on prime Japanese televisions networks Tokyo MX, KBS, SUN TV, and BS Asahi. Funimation and Hulu are also streaming the anime.
