In the second half of the episode, the town was suddenly seeing snowfall out of season. Thus, the team decided to use this as a cover to plan an escape. They all reached the spot of the hourglass. Without creating much of a fuss, Kizuna was able to activate the machine. By the end of the episode, Naofumi realized that he had walked into a trap.
