Tokyo Revengers will be starting a spinoff. It will be called Tokyo Revengers Extra. This new spinoff series will be short, with only eight chapters. Fans can look forward to reading Tokyo Revengers Extra in the Weekly Shonen Magazine. Moreover, there have already been a few leaks on the series. Tokyo Revengers Extra will start as soon as the end of the original series. But, according to leaks, there is uncertainty whether Tokyo Revengers Extra will come out on the Weekly Shonen Magazine #51 or #52.
The original series’ ending also makes fans confused about whether the spinoff series has already started or if it will be coming out later. A cover page of the first chapter has also been leaked, which shows the founding members of Tokyo Revengers. The concluding chapter is rumored to have a sweet ending featuring Hinata and Takemichi’s wedding.
What Will Be The Plot?
According to author Ken Wakui, Hanagaki Takemichi’s story has ended. Tokyo Revengers Extra will follow the story of the founders of Tokyo Manji Gang. The gang is also known as Thomas. The first few chapters will be called “The Wounded Tiger.” The gang members include Mikey, Draken, Mitsuya, Baji, Pah-chin, and Kazutora. Fans can also look forward to seeing the relationship dynamics. There has been a change in the dynamics since Takemichi and Mikey got back together in 2006, which has completely changed the timeline.
Moreover, according to Kodansha USA Publishing, a more elaborate plot has been revealed. It says that Takemichi finds out through the news that his high-school girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, was killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. But he also does not live the best life at the moment. Despite all this, he finds himself transported back to his middle school years which was twelve years back. To save Hinata and turn his life around, Takemichi must go after the top of Kanto’s delinquent gang.
