The anime made its debut on October 4, 2017. It ran for thirteen episodes before ending on December 27, 2020. Now, its second season is all set to premiere in the upcoming month.

The makers have released four promotional videos for Tsukipro The Animation season 2 so far. Each one featured a different theme by one of the four idols group. All these songs were released under Tsukino Entertainment Production. The first theme song is “Love’Em All” by Solids. The second one is “Gonna be Alright” by SOARA. Moreover, its third theme song is “Your Freedom” by Quell, and the fourth one is “The Journey Of Freedom” by Growth.” After these four videos, the production company released another PV earlier this month to reveal the release date of the anime’s second season.

The official Twitter handle of the anime revealed that two new cast members would join the second season of the series. One of the new characters is Keito Okamoto. He is the younger brother of Shiki Takamura from Solids. Yoshiki Nakajima will provide his voice to this character. Moreover, the second character who will join Tsukipro The Animation Season 2 is Mina Okui. She is the sister of Tsubasa Okui. Hisaka Tojo will play the role of her voice actress. On the other hand, all the other leading cast members from the debut season will reprise their roles.

The makers have finally announced the release date of the anime’s second season after three and a half years. The title of its first episode is “We Couldn’t Wait To Get Up In The Morning.” Moreover, Tsukipro The Animation Season 2 is all set to premiere on July 7, 2021. It will air on Tokyo MX, KBS in Japan, and global fans will be able to stream it on Crunchyroll.
