And he tasked them with the daunting job of clearing a thick forest for the upcoming crop harvest. He assured them that if they worked diligently, they would earn their freedom back. Einar was taken aback by this but was poised to make the most of the opportunity. Thus, Thorfinn and Einar set to work.
