According to the official synopsis, the story of the second act of Yashahime Princess Half-Demon will follow the story of the daughters of the two heroes of the Inuyasha anime. Here, the story will revolve around the introductory plots of the daughters of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, Towa, and Setsuna. The basic plot of the story will follow the conflict of the separation of these two sisters.
The new trailer by Studio Sunrise beautifully depicts the story of the upcoming anime. Even the upgraded animation style is attracting much praise and appreciation from the audience. Along with the new trailer, the anime’s official website also shares the casting updates of the new act. For a start, Yashahime Princess Half-Demon Season 2 will be directed by veteran filmmaker Teruo Sato. Katsuyuki Sumisawa is in charge of the scriptwriting department. Yoshihito Hishinuma will be handling the animation and designs of the new part. Furthermore, the character design will be the department of the mangaka Takahashi himself. Lastly, Kaoru Wada is working at Sunrise to create the background score of the show.
The new updates from the website give away the band that will lend its single for the theme song. The NEWS idol group will be forging the opening credit song. Moreover, the music band Little Glee Monster will lend their single for the ending theme song of the second part of Yashahime Princess Half-Demon.

The official release date for Yashahime Princess Half-Demon Season 2 was revealed in the last announcement by the makers. The second season of the anime is all set to release on October 2, 2021. Just like the first season, the second installment will air on Yomiuri TV, NTV, and other Japanese networks.
