Kagura and Boruto, who are in prison during the time of the attack, try to make sense of the situation and ask around about the mysterious attacks.
Meanwhile, Isari successfully reaches his father Araumi and breaks him out of his cell. Kagura and Boruto try to stop the father and son duo, but fail to do so. Soon, they learn that the Funato Clan will attack and conquer all the islands. A defeated Boruto returns to his friends and tells them of everything that happened. Kagura recruits three new members as reinforcements who happen to be the rest of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen. The two teams then board a boat to face their new enemy.
