Diomedéa Studios is producing the anime television series. And Yukina Hiiro is directing it. Shoji Yonemura is working as the scriptwriter. In addition to the anime, Bandai Namco Entertainment will also launch a mobile game on iOS and Android devices.

The official Twitter handle of the Futsal Boys Anime released a new trailer on December 17, 2021. Soon afterward, the video started streaming on the official YouTube channel of the sports anime. The promotional clip introduced fans to team Koyo and its members. The video teased the team positions of the six players and their respective cast. Moreover, it gave the fans glimpses of the show’s budding friendships and rivalries.
The promotional clip revealed the cast of the six players. Playing as the protagonist, Haru Yamato is Ryoto Takara. Joining him is Shuto Ishimori, voicing the cool Seiichiro. Meanwhile, Kohei Yoshiwara is playing team captain Toi. And Ryotaro Yamaguchi is sub captain Tsubaki. Kazuki Furuta is playing the role of cheerful Ryu. What Is The Anime About?
As the title suggests, Futsal Boys Anime is a sports anime on the sport of Futsal. The story narrates the lives of five Futsal teams from different schools and academies. The initial chapters of the show will center around protagonist Haru Yamato. But, as the story progresses, it will shift towards other teams and players. The story of both the anime and game will be based on actual Futsal matches between the teams.
The anime starts with Haru Yamato from Koyo Academy. One day while watching an Under eighteen championship Futsal match. He gets inspired watching a pro player Tokinari. Motivated, he joins the Futsal Club of his high school. Upon entering, he soon meets the rest of his teammates. Well, each player has their own issues. But, in the end, they all come together for their passion for Futsal. They train and work hard to climb ranks as top Futsal players.

Futsal Boys: When And Where to Watch It?
Futsal Boys Anime was expected to release in Fall 2021. But, unfortunately, the show experienced a delay and got postponed. However, the official website of the anime revealed the release date in a recent reveal. So, the show will premiere on January 9, 2022, on Tokyo MX. And on BS11 and MBS on January 11, 2022.
