The story of Hakata Tonkuotsu Ramens takes place in the city of Fukuoka, which is home to dangerous killers, skilled detectives, and revenger seekers. Among them, there is a detective named Zenji Banba. He is investigating the work of other companies in the locality. However, Banba is not the only one who is keeping an eye on other companies.
A cross-dressing male hitman, Xianming Lin, also has a bone to pick with the organizations due to lack of job and pay. Later Lin got a task to kill Zenji from his company. However, when Zenji and Banba come face to face, they form a team and begin to work together.
