Jujutsu Kaisen comes with another nerve-wracking chapter this week. However, the new character in focus is Yuta this time. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 174 will show Yuta seconds away from fighting Kurourushi. As previously seen, Gojo’s student does not look like someone who will easily follow any higher-ups. However, the new chapters resolve Yuta’s true nature and his promise to make things easier for Gojo. He appears to be helping civilians and planning to add certain rules for their safety. The new players introduced in the 173rd chapter have proven to have much more gravity than one had thought.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 174: Plot Details!
Chapter 174th of Jujutsu Kaisen begins with Uro and Ishigori watching Dhruv’s shikigami that appears to resemble King Bug in Nautica disperse. Ishigori later asks Kogane a list of players who gained points in the last minute. The list showcases Yuta Okkotsu’s name foremost. Thus, the duo decides to stay longer to watch a fight break-in. Meanwhile, Yuta carefully escorts the civilians into Dhruv’s former shelter. The story develops further when a swarm of cockroaches floods the site. Yuta asks the crowd to stay inside the shelter beforehand.
However, one could not make it in time. Yuta tries to protect him, but the kid ultimately gets caught in the flood. Finally, Kurourushi breaks out of his hibernation and eyes at Yuta for feeding. While the cursed energy stands apart from Yuta, the latter decides to add rules to protect the people stuck in the barrier. He wants four new rules: two of Megumi’s rules and to be able to reach out to other players. Lastly, to travel in and out of the barrier. The chapter reaches an end when Yuta resolves to gain 400 points and kill Kenjaku. Finally, Kurourushi is seen in hand with a Fester Life Blade.

The 173rd chapter of JJK had Megumi try to reason with Master Tengen’s actions. He wonders if he has joined hands with Kenjaku while Reggie Star dies off. With 41 plus points, Megumi embarks on new ventures. Finally, Takaba and Hazenoki’s fight comes in sight. After Kogane’s declaration about Reggie’s defeat, Hazenoki finds no reason to proceed further and leaves too. On the other hand, Tsukimi refuses Megumi for unnecessary violence on Remi while the player faints on the ground.
In those moments, an angel appears right above his head. The chapter then introduces four new characters: Dhruv Lakdawalla with 91 points, Ryu Ishigori with 77 points and Takako Uro with 70 points, and, Kurourushi who is a special grade curse with 54 points.
