Nier Automata Episode 3: What Will Happen Next?
The upcoming episode is titled “Break Ti[M]e.” It will follow 2B and 9S’s mission, where they try to continue to investigate. They will try to discover why the other YoRHa androids have gone missing. Lily will also be one of the main focuses for episode three. Viewers will also see Pascal, a gentle machine that educates other lifeforms to live their lives peacefully.
As the previous episode ended showing other machines gaining intelligence, it will be interesting to see how things start to change in the next episode. Moreover, Lily’s doubts about 2B and 9S will either come true or be proven wrong. There will be a lot on Lily and Resistance’s team to deal with the other machines currently developing intelligence in the same way that PLAO8 did.

Nier Automata Episode 2 saw the Human Council giving a speech to the YoRHa androids about how humans have taken shelter on the moon to escape from the machines. Moreover, androids on Earth were built as a form of resistance. YoRHa soldiers in space will also have to retake the planet. Later, 2B also completed her maintenance. The Commander asked her and 9S to meet Resistance and look for the missing YoRHa. Somewhere else, the Medium Biped machine was seen giving PLAO8 developed intelligence. It had also started exploring the ruins.
The Medium Biped machine even started growing flowers after reading a book left by humans. Several machines happened to reach Lily and Resistance team’s location. However, 2B and 9S also arrive at the place in time and destroy the machines. PLAO8 also gets killed. But Lily continues to be doubtful of the duo’s helpfulness. The episode ends with other machines also gaining intelligence, like PLAO8.
